Juicebar Training Simulation
Tools: Flash/Actionscript 2.0
Role: Designed, Developed, and Programmed the simulation.
Description: This project was to create an E-Training product that solved a performace problem in the work place. At the time I was working at a health club and decided that a juicebar training simulation would be both cost effective and help boost customer service, by ensuring that all employees knew how to make exactly what the customer had ordered. This cut back on waste from improperly made shakes, and made customers happy by giving them what they wanted. The user is presented with a juicebar workstation from which they must select the proper ingredient and the proper measurement. By implementing a timer, manager rating system, and dynamic customer mood levels the application was able to effectivly simulate the stresses associated with working at a real juicebar. Dynamic variables control how each customer behaves(i.e. How easily frustrated they are, and how mean or friendly they may be.) As the simulation progresses, the time limit decreases and the orders become more complex.
